"Milestones are meant to be achieved." ISRO has been evincing this statement for decades. Since August 1969, ISRO has acquired many milestones efficiently and budget-friendly day by day.
whether it is about launching India's first rocket in 1963 from Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS) by the father of the Indian space program Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, or Mangalyaan.
The objective of ISRO:
development and application of space technology for various national needs.
Establishments of ISRO:
Space systems for communication , television , broadcasting, meteorological services , resource monitoring and management , space-based navigation services, satellite launch vehicles, PSLV & GSLV.
MISSION GAGANYAAN
It is going to be India's first crewed mission by ISRO. ISRO is looking forward towards India's first human spaceflight capabilities by launching a crew of 3 members to an orbit of 400 km for a 3-day mission and bringing them back safely to earth.
LVM3 human-rated rocket— The identified launch vehicle for Gaganyaan.
Pre-requisites
In-house expertise.
Human-rated launch vehicle for carrying crew safely to space.
Life support system.
Crew emergency escape provision.
Evolving crew management aspects for training recovery and rehabilitation of the crew.
Various test missions have been planned. Some of them are also successfully completed; that proves the technology levels before carrying out the actual human space flight program.
Static test for low-altitude escape motor.
service module propulsion system demonstration.
Integrated main parachute airdrop test.
Drogue parachute deployment test.
Radio frequency compatibility test.

On 27 February 2024, PM Narendra Modi revealed the identities of the first four gaganyatris.

technologies to be used in GAGANYAAN:
SAKHI:
A spaceborne assistance and knowledge hub for crew interaction.
Multi-purpose app for Gaganyaan
Developed by VSSC and ISRO.
Capabilities:
Assist astronauts on the Gaganyaan space flight mission.
Accessing critical technical data.
facilitating communication among themselves.
Astronauts can utilize the app to document the mission through video recording, texts, and images.
Monitor their health.
Ensure clear communication between the crew and ground-based station.
VYOMITRA:
VYOMA—Space + MITRA—friend; the word is derived from Sanskrit.
Female half-humanoid Vyomitra.
Half-Humanoid—lacks legs but can perform a range of human-like movements.
Robotics system designed to resemble humans and function autonomously in space.
Vyomitra is developed by ISRO and VSSC.
It was first unveiled on 22 January 2020 at the Human Space Flight and Exploration Symposium in Bengaluru.
Capabilities:
Monitor Module Parameters.
Issue alerts.
Execute life support operation.
Perform operation.
Vyomitra can respond in Hindi and English.
ISRO aims to substitute animals with humanoid robots on experimental missions.
Features:
In the process of making its skull, aluminum alloy (ALSI10MG) is used, which is commonly used in aerospace industries due to its survival ability during rocket launches.
3-D printing and many more technologies.
human-like features—facial expression , ability to speak and respond
